This this week's installment of Video Friday, we see on the largest glacial calving events ever caught on camera. We are in the heart of the dog days of summer here on the east coast of the US and I figured I'd show something that's really cold to help. A chunk of ice 4000 m wide and 100 m high brakes off of Greenland's Helheim Glacier. Researchers at Scwansea University in the UK caught this amazing footage on a time-lapse video. Hint... this may or may not be a teaser for our next podcast.
